WHY AMEFOND
1. There are parents with many children who are living below the poverty line and government alone cannot meet the demand for quality education. Our aim is to take as many children off the street and put them into schools .
2. We have provided grants to several deprived children and youths at nursery, primary, secondary and university level.
3. We want to create a cycle in the future where beneficiaries who have earned their degrees as well as professional qualifications can also sponsor others.
1. We apply a consultative approach working with the community to design programmes and obtain their buy-in.
2. Finance is raised primarily by contributions from the Wada family as well as donations from individuals and corporate organisations.
3. Donations of materials and services are also received from willing donor institutions and individuals.
4. Donations are deployed towards the development of Amefond’s educational centre, purchase of learning materials such as books as well as school uniform and sportswear for the children and payment of teacher’s salaries
1. We sponsored 21 Children to Primary School prior to the establishment the free school in Mbaduku.
2. Our Nursery and Primary School approved by the Benue State Government has a total of 80 children.
3. We are currently sponsoring several children at various school levels across Nigeria.
