The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) has donated five laptop computers and two sets of Boubba e zaza books to Amefond. Mr Benoit Sossou, the Regional Director & Country Representative on behalf of UNESCO and they were received by Dr B Wada, Executive Director Amefond.  Mr Sossou was full of praise for the work Dr Wada had done in raising awareness for the use of mother tongue through his publications as well as the foundation he established to provide access to education for underprivileged children. Dr Wada in his response thanked the UNESCO Representative for the wonderful contribution to the foundation and promised that the laptops will be put to immediate use. UNESCO promised to sustain the partnership with amefond in the years ahead.
